Privacy policy
Tomomomento doesn't collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There's no account, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking.
What stays on your computer
- In the web app, your settings, the timer's progress, your stats, today's plan, and any thoughts you park are saved in your browser's storage for this site. They never leave your device.
- The web app is hosted on Railway at tomomomento.com; its older github.io address, on GitHub Pages, only forwards visitors there. Like any web host, Railway and GitHub see visitors' IP addresses when the page loads and may log them for security; see the privacy policies of Railway and GitHub. Tomomomento adds no cookies, analytics, or tracking, and makes no other network requests.
- Back up in Settings saves a file of your settings, stats, plan and parked thoughts to your own downloads, and Restore reads one you pick. Nothing is uploaded.
- Alert sounds are generated on your device.
- Your settings, the timer's progress, your stats, today's plan, and any thoughts you park are saved with Chrome's built-in storage so the timer keeps going when the popup closes. If Chrome Sync is on, Google syncs your settings between your own signed-in browsers. They never reach me.
- Back up in Settings saves a file of your settings, stats, plan and parked thoughts to your own downloads, and Restore reads one you pick. Nothing is uploaded.
- Alert sounds are generated on your device. The extension makes no network requests.
- The optional site blocker compares the addresses of pages you open against your list of blocked sites, inside Chrome, while a focus session is running. It doesn't read page content, and it doesn't record or send your browsing history anywhere. Chrome asks your permission when you turn it on, and Tomomomento gives that permission back when you turn it off.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling Tomomomento deletes everything it stored.
Clearing this site's data in your browser's settings deletes everything the web app stored.
Email to is forwarded to my inbox by Cloudflare (see Cloudflare's privacy policy). If you email me, I'll use your address and message only to reply to you, and I won't share them.
Children
Tomomomento collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear here and in the extension's store listing, with a new date at the top.

Using Tomomomento
Tomomomento is free, and always will be. You're welcome to use it for personal or work use. Don't use it for anything unlawful.
No guarantees
Tomomomento is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. I work to keep it reliable, but I can't promise it will always be accurate, available, or free of bugs. For example, a timer can end late if your computer sleeps. Don't rely on it for anything where a missed alert could cause harm, like medication or cooking.
The site blocker is a focus aid, not a security or parental-control tool. It's easy to turn off and doesn't cover every way of reaching a site.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any damages or losses that come from using, or not being able to use, Tomomomento.
Ownership
Tomomomento, its code and its design are © . The source code is open under the MIT License, so you're free to study, change, and share it as that license allows. Third-party parts keep their own licenses, listed under Credits.
Changes and ending
I may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Using Tomomomento after a change means you accept the new terms. You can stop at any time by uninstalling it.
